About Seller Suburban
Seller Suburbanis an internal inventory and listing tool built for the eBay seller account "Seller Suburban". It runs at sellersuburban.com and is used only by the operator and their authorized team members to manage their own eBay listings.
What it does
- Scans a UPC/GTIN and looks up product data in eBay's public catalog.
- Imports product details into an editable listing draft.
- Applies HTML listing templates by item type (DVD, CD, clothing, etc.).
- Tracks inventory quantity, location/bin, and condition.
- Publishes finalized drafts to eBay through the Sell Inventory API.
- Updates quantity on eBay when local stock is reduced.
How it connects to eBay
The operator grants access to their own eBay seller account using eBay's OAuth authorization-code flow. The refresh token is stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Short-lived access tokens are refreshed automatically and never leave the server.
Scope
- Single-tenant: only one seller account (Seller Suburban) is connected.
- No eBay buyer personally identifiable information is collected or stored.
- Not a multi-seller marketplace tool.
